The 2021 WINE100 Challenge Award Ceremony was held in Kerry Center, Hangzhou on June 11th. This year, Chairman Julien Boulard MW and Professor Ma Huiqin led a group of well-known wine experts at home and abroad, tasting and scoring more than 800 wine entries in three days, and finally came to the 2021 WINE100 Challenge awarded wine list.

Partnership with ZEYA will expand EMW portfolio to the fast growing Hard Seltzer category.
SHANGHAI, May 7th, 2021 – EMW Fine Wines (EMW) has signed a partnership agreement with ZEYA Hard Seltzer, one of China’s first hard seltzer brands with a self-owned brewing facility, to expand into the new drinking market.
EMW will present Zeya to all our existing channels into on-trade, off-trade, and e-commerce in Mainland China with future opportunities in Hong Kong and Macau. The full range of Zeya products will be officially launched to all EMW channels from May 17th.
Founded in 2020, ZEYA is the first hard seltzer in China with a self-owned brewing facility. ZEYA has made it their mission to champion a healthy life style world by empowering young people to live confidently. The company pursues healthier, more casual approaches to leisure through the products and communities they create. Based in Shanghai, ZEYA has four refreshing flavors of white peach, cucumber, passion fruit and grapefruit, as well as limited release and seasonal products.

With a history dating back to 1588, the House of Godet ranks amongst the oldest Cognac houses. The Godet family has been based in the seaside town and former trading hub La Rochelle for over 400 years. Established in the Côte des Bar region, Champagne Edouard DUVAL is crafted from the best selected grapes solely coming from its own estate – the Domaine Sainte Eulalie. This ancient Priory was founded almost a thousand years ago, in 1095, by the monks of Cluny Abbey. It holds a unique position in Champagne as one of the only historical estates still in existence with 28 hectares of contiguous vineyards producing Champagne. All the grapes are estate grown using sustainable farming methods and certified “Viticulture durable en Champagne” (VDC).
Champagne Edouard DUVAL is produced with very little intervention, long cellar aging, and low dosage to best express the unique terroir and to fulfill the guiding vision, “To perpetuate a wine cultivation respectful of Cluny Abbey’s heritage in each of our champagnes.”
