Located in a fantastic setting 525ft (160m) above sea level in the Garzón hills, Bodega Garzón is considered as one of the leading wine producer in Uruguay.
With the advice of world famous consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini, the hills were planted with a complex network of vineyards that produce wines with a strong identity, expressing the inimitable character and features of the Garzón terroir.
Bodega Garzón wines have received over 125 international awards in just five years, including Best in Show and Platinum Awards at world’s largest and most Influential wine competition, Decanter Awards. Their juicy, spicy Tannat was recognized as the best of its type in the world in 2013 and 2016, followed by a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge in 2017.

In late May and eary June of 2018, EMW celebrated her 15th anniversary in HK, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

HK office was set up 5 years ago, and it was the first time we organize a grand portfolio tasting, and I was very happy and proud to see that most of key opinions leaders and top sommeliers were here with us to meet the winemakers, taste some of our best wines and celebrate this anniversary.”

Bodegas Roda was founded in 1987 which has rapidly gained renown for its meticulous and exacting research into Tempranillo, one of Spain’s oldest indigenous grape varieties. Using the most modern of technology, Roda have perfected the art of Tempranillo, identifying 552 individual clones, from which only 20 have been selected for propagation, chosen for the quality they deliver in specific vineyard plots which located in the best ecosystems of La Rioja Alta.
